Whois Privacy Protection in Shared Website Hosting
If you’ve ordered a shared website hosting plan from us and you’ve registered one or more domains under your account, you will be able to activate Whois Privacy Protection for any of them without difficulty and to keep your personal info safe. Of course, this will be possible only with the TLD extensions that support such a service. In your Hepsia Control Panel, you will notice an “Whois Privacy Protection” button to the right of each of your domain names. Its colour will tell you if a domain name is protected or not and in the second case, you can activate Whois Privacy Protection with only a few clicks of the mouse. Thus, you can shield your private info even if you have not enabled the service during the hosting account activation procedure. You’ll be able to renew or to disable the Whois Privacy Protection service for any of your domains just as easily.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
Activating Whois Privacy Protection for any domain is amazingly easy if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server. If the domain name is registered with our company, it will be displayed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server plan. If a specific generic or country-specific Top-Level Domain supports Whois Privacy Protection, you’ll see a mini symbol on the right-hand side of that domain. To activate the service, you will have to click on it. In the very same way, you can also renew or deactivate the service. You can enable Whois Privacy Protection for a domain during the account order procedure too, but since the Whois Privacy Protection service is optional, we will offer you the possibility to add it to any of your domain names later if you change your mind and choose to hide your private info from the public eye after you have already ordered the account.
